It was a recently renovated and convenient hotel in a very nice area, close to restaurants, supermarkets and a laundry and Durango city center and southwestern Colorado. All of the staff were caring, attentive.
Everything great.

We were welcomed by Cullen at the front desk at our arrival -- he explained all of the facilities and amenities for the Quality Inn then followed up with a call to be certain that we were settled and were comfortable. The breakfast was great in the morning. Most important the beds and pillows were very comfortable.
Nothing. For what we wanted it was great.

We arrived early. Mary went out of her way to get us a room right away. We got a room within 10-15 minutes. We truly enjoyed our stay in Durango, Colorado we were thinking about going to Ouray for the day, but realized it would be too much driving, we would have loved to go back to Quality Inn again.

The receptionist during my check-in and the kid working during the breakfast were very friendly.
There was a stain on my sheets, old-looking. I let the staff know when I checked out. There was no apology . . . only a comment that she would "let housekeeping know."

Good price. Comfortable room and only a short drive to the downtown area. There is a free bus service that stops nearby.
Breakfast room a little small for number of guests.

great access to parks and the river for city strolls
The hotel was super convenient for my weekend getaways, with beautiful animas city park just 500 meters away for leisurely walks and the serene animas river nearby that offers a relaxing shoreline to explore. Plus, the staff was friendly and helpful making my stay comfortable.

The staff, the continential breakfast, big screen tv, chocolate chip cookies and the location.
I think the price was about 40 bucks to high, even for a holiday.

We loved access to the hot tub, outdoor pool, and nearby rock climbing at the Animas River and Trail area. The staff were super friendly, and the breakfast was decent. Just don't expect too many options. The area had plenty of activities like skiing and mountain biking!
The only downside was the cleanliness of the AC units in our room. It looked pretty gross, and we had to clean it ourselves. That bothered us a bit, but overall, it didn't ruin our stay.

Budget-friendly place for a decent stay
So there was a nice bottle of water and some candy waiting for us in the room when we checked in, kind of a nice touch. And let me tell ya, the employees here really did their job right, I appreciated that.
It wasn't exactly on the cheap side but still alright.
